ᐅ IKEA Ivar Chest of Drawers – Drawer Does Not Fit

Good evening, this question was asked four years ago, but unfortunately, there was no answer.

Today I assembled the Ivar dresser, but I cannot install the top drawer. I have searched the internet and YouTube, but found no solution. The mother who was called for help couldn’t assist either. We even tried filing down a bit of the drawer, but that didn’t help. I would be very grateful for any tips on how to get the drawer installed!

I think that when I look at

Step 2: Attach back panel to metal frame; two mounting rails visible; Do not use 101345

and

the rails inside the cabinet are installed incorrectly. The wheel should probably be at the bottom.

I have now screwed them in the opposite way, but they still don’t fit. Either the middle drawer won’t close (as shown in the picture) or I can’t open it because it gets stuck under the top one. 🙁

If this were a kitchen front, I would say read page 16 and use the correct holes for the front.

The rollers are now installed at the bottom, as was already clarified. It’s not a kitchen front, and the holes for the trims are pre-drilled. You can’t use different ones. Still, the middle drawer doesn’t fit. And yes, I swapped the drawers among themselves. None of the three fit. Unfortunately.
