ᐅ Ikea Faktum Base Cabinet Front Panel Issue

The moment has come. Despite the help from many here, I've had enough of Faktum.

I went to IKEA and had the staff there “pull out” the drawer for me 😀 and also remove the large “front panel” 😀

It was really easy there; they probably always use the same cabinet and the same drawers.

At home, I got to work. Didn’t break anything 😀

Then I adjusted the rods. The gap got smaller at the top, but that created a gap at the bottom of the drawer—you just can’t have it all 😀

It was all for nothing. The front is crooked in itself, or to put it differently, “elegantly bent” 🙄
Do I now have to disassemble the cabinet and take the individual parts to IKEA? Is it enough to bring just the drawer with the front, or only the front with photos to get a new front panel?

If anyone has experience, please let me know.

Based on previous experiences, I won’t call any 01805 number or other premium service lines. You can save the money for call centers, and another request to the “friendly service” won’t help me either.

Once you have removed the front panel, lay it flat on your table or another flat surface to check if the panel is actually warped. If it is, it is sufficient to exchange just the front panel with the receipt. This process is completely straightforward.

It used to be much better when you could speak directly with the responsible specialists at companies and receive really good information.

New front door delivered. What can I say—installed it, adjusted a bit here and there, the door fits perfectly. Handle attached. Closed the door softly and smoothly with a satisfying click 😀 😀
