Hello everyone,

I’ll keep it brief. About 5 years ago, I bought a kitchen from IKEA. Now, the hinges on 4 of the display cabinet doors (glass with aluminum frame) have broken. Can anyone tell me where I can get replacements? I already asked IKEA, and they told me to check with my local IKEA store. I went there, but they couldn’t help either. I tried searching online, but no luck. What should I do? Does anyone here have any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Regards, golom

Now I'm baffled... are these still being installed and IKEA can't help???
They definitely still exist, for sure...

@Brootos.

First of all, thanks a lot for the quick response.
Providing the spare part number is really kind of you, I didn’t have it anymore. I will try to see if I can proceed with that number. Thanks again, Brootos.

Best regards, golom.

P.S.: I’ll get back to you once it has worked out.

Hello everyone,

I have now tried sending an email to

(ikea-Service.de1@https://www.ikea.com)

using the spare part number from Brootos. The number (spare part number 106 832) is no longer valid...

(The correct spare part number is ........117876 109397......... - as of January 2011).

Today I received confirmation that they will send me the hinges.

@Brootos..........thank you so much for your help

Best regards, golom

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to share the latest update. The hinges are on their way to me. Here is the response email from IKEA:

"Thank you for your email.
We have ordered the fittings you need from our spare parts warehouse in Sweden
under reference number AS-P-1110260.
The shipment is expected to be delivered to you free of charge within 5–10 business days.

Best regards"

Let’s see what free of charge means at IKEA. I will update you again when the parts arrive.

Best regards, golom
