Hello,
for our new build, we have a room height of 2.56m (8 ft 5 in). Our architect says that a 2.17m (7 ft 1 in) high double terrace door would be possible. It should have an interior (wall) roller shutter box. This seems too low to us, as in previous house offers with a room height of 2.50m (8 ft 2.5 in), we were able to have a 2.26m (7 ft 5 in) high terrace door.
What do you think about this?

It probably looks a bit odd to have such a small door at ceiling height. But a simple tall door doesn't look right either. I would choose wider doors and then add a small divided window above the door...
Best regards
