Hello everyone, I recently purchased several Ikea Pax wardrobes and plan to place them on a floor that is unfortunately quite uneven. The irregularities reach up to 1.5 cm (0.6 inches) diagonally over about 1 meter (3.3 feet), which of course affects the stability of the wardrobes. My main question is: how can I effectively stabilize Ikea Pax wardrobes on uneven floors so that they neither tip over nor get damaged? I am inclined to adjust the feet, but since Ikea Pax wardrobes do not come with adjustable feet by default, I wonder if there are any recommended solutions or tricks to compensate for the unevenness. I would really appreciate practical experience, tips on specific materials, assembly methods, or alternatives to the original feet. Thanks in advance!

In summary, I recommend the following for anyone planning to place Ikea Pax on uneven floors:

- Replace the feet with height-adjustable versions featuring suitable threaded inserts
- Secure the threaded connection using knock-in nuts (cage nuts) for long-term stability
- Use felt or rubber pads beneath the load distribution points
- Attach wall brackets to prevent tipping
- Regularly check and, if necessary, readjust the required adjustment height

This combination ensures functional stability, protects the floor surface, prevents deformation, and increases safety in everyday use.
