Hello everyone,

I am planning to set up several IKEA BILLY bookcases in my apartment. However, the floors in the rooms where the bookcases will be placed are not completely level. There are slight unevenness in the floors, which causes the bookcases to be unstable or wobble slightly. My goal is to find a stable and long-lasting solution to make it easier to position and level the BILLY bookcases on this uneven floor. I would like to avoid extensive floor modifications and not buy expensive special solutions.

How have you solved this problem? Do you know of practical tips, tools, or suitable accessories that are especially recommended for BILLY bookcases on uneven floors? I look forward to your experiences and advice!

That is exactly the ideal solution. Additionally, it is important to secure all possible contact points (shelf to wall, shelf to floor) against slipping. One tip: installing brackets on shelf feet increases load capacity and further prevents wobbling on uneven floors.
