Hello,
I am currently struggling to find a solid, good-quality sectional sofa for our new build.
We want a U-shaped sectional for the corner of our living room.
Width approximately 345-355 cm (136-140 inches).
The sectional should be good quality and upholstered in fabric (we do not like leather).
In the past, we and acquaintances have had bad experiences with the store brands from various furniture retailers.
At first, they were comfortable, but after a short time, they became very uncomfortable and you could feel the springs.
Which brands would you recommend that offer solid quality?
One that also holds up well for several years with normal use.
Budget max 2000-3000 €

Ok, I will take a look at the Polish stores.
Could you maybe recommend some directly?
Which brands would you suggest?
What would you say are good options for sectional sofas here?
I only found one thread about furniture, but it didn’t include sectional sofas. As I said, where we bought from is a purely Polish upholstery manufacturer. For that, you need a) knowledge of the Polish language and b) someone to deliver it to you. Otherwise, just check Facebook, many advertise there.

I would be out at 38cm (15 inches) height, for example.Me too. 42cm (16.5 inches) is a comfortable height. In fact, two weeks ago I bought a sofa completely blind online at Kare Outlet, comparing all the dimensions with our old Schillig sofa (normally a no-go for me). It was a bargain at 590€ instead of 2499€, so we took a chance. And it fits perfectly! That reminds me: Benz, E Schillig, and W Schillig, but as I said: starting prices.
Almost all upholstery fabrics are sold by one fabric manufacturer to the upholstery producers…
Is it really that difficult?
Just start "Google," enter "living room layout U shape," select images, and you can scroll for days until you find a nice model…
But beware: online you can only see pictures and prices; to check the quality, you still have to visit a furniture store. 😉
Note: A U-shaped sectional, quality, and €2000 exclude each other.
Regarding the old couch: why didn’t you report a complaint after six months? I would have had that junk taken away again.

That’s why I wanted to know a few brands where you can expect good quality at a reasonable price.
