ᐅ Using the MELDAL Daybed as a Sofa?????

Hi everyone,
I have a question: I’ve fallen completely in love with the MELDAL bed frame (daybed) and would like to use it as a “sofa.” Do you think it would be uncomfortable or inconvenient, or is it worth a try? 😉

The MELDAL is designed to function as both a sofa and a bed.
However, I would recommend getting a thick, high-quality mattress; otherwise, you’ll feel the metal frame pressing against the back of your knees when sitting.

if you’re going to take another look at the sofa at Ikea anyway, why not take some time and sit on it for about half an hour? That way you can really feel if it meets your comfort needs. To pass the time, you could bring a book or take a short nap.

@ klappstuhl: The idea is great, I just have to convince my partner to spend half an hour testing the sofa with me... I’ll see what I can do 😀 If worse comes to worst, I’ll go alone with my book 😉
