Hello everyone,

I won this sofa for 35€ on eBay.

Does anyone know the name? That would be great because then I could search for covers! 🙂

Best regards

Hej,

it could be a KARLANDA, the predecessor of the Karlstad series. I don’t think it is STOCKHOLM or VREDA. But wow, that’s really a bargain!

groetjes,
alex

Yes, indeed – pick-up in Munich – 35 € (35 USD)

Hmm… both KARLANDA and STOCKHOLM would somehow fit, if it weren’t for those curved backrests...
If I get the sofa and still can’t decide for sure, I’ll definitely get back in touch!! 🙂

Otherwise, I’m very grateful for any further tips..

Amal
I found it!!
Unfortunately, I don’t have the Swedish characters. Just imagine a little ring above the A's!
I found it in the 2000 catalog. Back then, the sofa cost 875,- DM and the upholstery is called "Krokom" natural, made of soft cotton-viscose chenille.
Here is the original catalog description:
"Amal sofa in classic design. Soft armrest cushions filled with landfowl feathers and polyurethane foam. The back cushions are reversible, contributing to a long lifespan. The upholstery 'Krokom' is made of soft cotton-viscose chenille. 198 x 90, 79 cm high (78 x 35, 31 inches, 31 inches high). Price: 875,-"
The sofa was available in red and natural colors, and only with 3 seats — just like the one you have!
I’m glad I could help you! 😉
