No room for a urinal in the ground floor bathroom
Basement not yet well planned, unsure how to properly separate a future sauna room
Personal budget limit for house including equipment: €425,000
- Preferred heating technology: air-to-water heat pump / ground loop collector + mechanical ventilation with heat recovery + underfloor heating

- Could give up: exposed roof structure
- Cannot give up: shower in ground floor WC; staircase with straight steps; stairway outside the dirt zone; wardrobe

I assume the phrase intended was "in the home stretch," since "final stage" to me suggests "all options exhausted, any further steps are only palliative."
However, the plans are not that bad. In this respect, I think it just means that there is internal agreement and the plans are considered mature enough to be handed over to a professional for further development.

Isn’t that the south side, at the bottom of the plan? Yesterday we moved things around a bit, but we still aren’t really satisfied with placing the sauna downstairs. South is not exactly at the bottom of the plan, see post #9.

“On the home stretch” is exactly what I’d like as a title now, but I can’t change it anymore.

Yesterday, for cooking, we adjusted the kitchen island in our current apartment to 1.20m (4 feet) and didn’t really notice a difference while cooking.
