No room for a urinal in the ground floor bathroom
Basement not yet well planned, unsure how to properly separate a future sauna room
Personal budget limit for house including equipment: €425,000
- Preferred heating technology: air-to-water heat pump / ground loop collector + mechanical ventilation with heat recovery + underfloor heating

In our opinion, very efficient use of space in a relatively small house, pleasant hallway layout

Note: Unfortunately, windows are missing on the upper floor. There are planned windows on the gable ends sized 150 x 138cm (59 x 54 in), dormer windows each approx. 200 x 138cm (79 x 54 in), and in the stairwell, master bedroom, and bathroom an additional double casement window sized 78 x 160cm (31 x 63 in)

Meh, I actually wanted to introduce ourselves briefly, but I can't find the edit button anymore.
The plot of land for the house is practically purchased; the notary appointment is coming up soon.

A few spontaneous thoughts:

Only a small window in the living room?
Once you have a child, you’ll probably do more there than just watch TV.

The 3D light well doesn’t match the plan, or am I misunderstanding something?

The asymmetry of the gables seems very unusual to me. Hmm. But it doesn’t really matter. Unsure.

Hi, you are completely right! We are still very unsure about the basement.
The window situation in the living room isn’t ideal, but the options are basically just: a window behind the TV or a window on the north side :/
The double door to the dining area is 2110 x 1960 mm (83 x 77 inches) and mostly made of glass. The window is supposed to be a 1300 x 2300 mm (51 x 91 inches) patio door, where the late afternoon/evening sun shines in.
We initially planned a symmetrical gable, but then the staircase goes over 4 m (13 feet) high with a window that is unreachable.
