Hello, for cost reasons we have now decided on uPVC windows.
However, I really don't like the glossy white plastic. :-(
Has anyone ordered these new decorative foil finishes and can share experiences or pictures?
I was thinking of matte white or wood white.
If anyone has them, I would appreciate any information.

The question was simply about laminated interior frames. Nothing DIY or anything like that.
The extra €15,000 was for the wood, not for the laminate.Sorry... but THAT wasn’t clear. Poorly explained, written, and asked.
I also left my three question marks above and read it the same way as Karsten.
Yes, now it makes sense. But if you first focus on the headline and are curious about how people discuss _decorative foil_, it turns into a different thread.
To me, this thread wasn’t about _laminated plastic windows_ when I read _decorative foil_ [emoji6]

If there is room for interpretation, I tend to go with the most likely one. And the idea that laminated frames cost an extra €15,000 or that someone wants to laminate the frames by hand themselves is not exactly the logical conclusion [emoji4]
By "decorative foil," the intention is surely to consider the mentioned wood patterns as foil, rather than just using plain-colored foil.

And that foil-wrapped frames cost an extra €15,000 or that someone wants to wrap the frames by hand themselves is not exactly the logical conclusion. Well, you have to think for the person asking the question... answering questions is not easy for beginners [emoji23]...
But if you have just bought some decorative film yourself and know that there are still some threads open about Blaupuma's expensive building contract, ... oh ... about probability and logical conclusions... and with a high school diploma... probably too much imagination [emoji4]
Hello, what’s going on here again?
Sorry if I didn’t express myself clearly.
The additional cost of 15,000 euros net refers to the price difference between my initially preferred wood-aluminum windows and the PVC (uPVC) windows.
And I am specifically looking for experiences from homeowners who ordered PVC windows with interior foil applied. Not people who applied the foil themselves.
I hope more people will share information on this.
And what’s with the expensive building project remarks? I am building a bungalow with a granny flat. About 150 m² (1,615 sq ft) and 70 m² (750 sq ft).
