Hello, for cost reasons we have now decided on uPVC windows.
However, I really don't like the glossy white plastic. :-(
Has anyone ordered these new decorative foil finishes and can share experiences or pictures?
I was thinking of matte white or wood white.
If anyone has them, I would appreciate any information.

Nordlys,
what exactly are you implying about me [emoji4]?
I can't quite understand it.
It’s true that my questions can sometimes be a bit unusual—that’s just how I am.
But something feels off, I was even asked to share details of my plot, as if I might not have one at all.
Here in Schleswig-Holstein, a 900 sqm (9700 sq ft) plot costs as much as a 300 sqm (3200 sq ft) one in central Germany, so you see.
We people from the North need to stick together.
I’m looking forward to a good exchange.

900 sqm (9,688 sq ft) in Schleswig-Holstein are quite affordable in the northern part of the state. It only gets expensive or very expensive in the Hamburg, Kiel, and Lübeck areas.
That is true.
However, your posts seem somewhat inconsistent to me. You have to admit that a 220 sqm (2,371 sq ft) house as a bungalow is also very unusual in Schleswig-Holstein.
You should also be able to see internally laminated windows at building material suppliers like Richter or Team.

The additional cost of 15,000 euros net refers to the price difference between my initially preferred wood-aluminum windows and the PVC windows. Whether champagne or sparkling water, you don’t really need a specialist forum to understand the significant price differences between Beluga and Mettbrötchen. Why do you immediately jump between extremes?
I just can’t bear to look at glossy white PVC.
I can reassure you, PVC won’t stay glossy forever. In my opinion, Gealan performs relatively best, but overall, PVC is not suitable to appear appropriate for windows (unless they face a light well or a garage).

Has anyone ordered these new decorative films, Foil coverings can stay looking nice longer on the inside because temperature fluctuations are smaller there, no direct sunlight comes from inside, and neither wind nor weather affects it. At least in a non-smoking household, the interior side is ideal for surface materials.

We also have Gealan; with that, you don’t have a foil covering, but you can order the plastic directly in the desired color. If you don’t look closely at the seams, you can’t tell whether it’s plastic or aluminum. Inside, we have the windows in plain white; they are not glossy and don’t look like cheap plastic. In my opinion, covering white plastic windows with white foil is pointless...

In my opinion, applying white foil again on white uPVC windows is pointless...What does Gealan do differently?
Do you have any photos of the plastic on the inside?
I’m looking for something that is not glossy but rather matte.
