bigpitter6 Jan 2013 16:44Hello everyone,
I need either the part number for the pictured "dowels" (IKEA in Kiel promised they would order them under this condition) or 24 pieces of them – unfortunately, my three cabinets from the old Effektiv system did not survive the move completely intact (the dowels can be tightened firmly only ONCE; the second time they unfortunately break).

The dowels are 38 mm (1.5 inches) long and have a diameter of 6 mm (0.24 inches) on the "insertion side" (left in the picture). They appear to be made of zinc alloy (?) with a plastic coating.
Can anyone help me either with the part number (my preferred solution since I would like to hold IKEA to their word) or with the dowels themselves?
Thanks in advance

IKEA-Experte6 Jan 2013 19:14Without an installation manual, it will be difficult to identify the part number. Check if the Rapid quick-mount anchors from Hettich or the Minifix expansion bolts from Häfele can be used somehow.

In parallel, I'll look for the anchors you suggested and then post whether they work.
