Hello!
Here is the problem: We have two Pax carcasses measuring 100cm x 35cm x 236cm (39 inches x 14 inches x 92 inches) placed side by side, connected and each fixed to the wall. We are using sliding doors. Unfortunately, the right carcass has too much space between the interior walls. The shelves could still be installed, but only with gaps at the sides. The pull-out clothing rod doesn’t work at all. Due to a difference of at least 10mm (0.4 inches), the screws strip directly in the interior wall.

Does anyone know this issue and might be able to help?

Best regards from Hamburg!

Just to understand: the assembled cabinet is too wide on the inside? For me, the only conclusion is that the cabinet wasn’t assembled properly, and something wasn’t pushed together correctly somewhere. I would probably remove the sliding doors again (a real hassle, I know), unscrew the tracks, and take another careful look at the cabinet assembly.

It sounds like the outer sides are being pushed apart due to the weight.

Is there a photo? Was the back side nailed when there was no external pressure applied?
