ᐅ Are there IKEA Platsa furniture units that can be assembled without screws, using only snap-fit or interlocking components?

Hello everyone, I am currently planning a living space layout and came across the IKEA Platsa system. Now I wonder if there are actually versions of IKEA Platsa furniture that require no screws at all and are designed to be assembled simply by clicking or slotting pieces together. This would make assembly much easier and also simplify later rearranging or disassembling. I would also like to avoid needing special tools or complicated fastenings. Does anyone have experience with this, or are there officially such modules or additional connecting systems that IKEA offers for Platsa that work completely screw-free? Thanks in advance!
Additional information on this topic: There are attempts to retrofit IKEA furniture with alternative fasteners such as camlocks and mini connectors, which simplify screw handling. However, usually at least one tool is still required, and completely screw-free systems are not officially available for IKEA Platsa.
For the use you described, the following options are available:
- Standard assembly with screws for maximum stability and long service life
- Modifications using quick-release connectors (generally not officially supported by IKEA)
Currently, no solution is officially completely screw-free. Alternatively, you might consider other modular snap-fit furniture systems that are specifically designed for frequent assembly and disassembly without tools.
I hope this helps you in making your decision.
