I am currently reorganizing my bedroom and planning to install an IKEA Pax system. This made me wonder: are there IKEA Pax wardrobes or compatible accessories specifically designed for shoe storage?
I’m not looking for general shelves but rather customizable solutions that allow you to store shoes neatly—whether through special shoe racks, pull-out drawers, or other clever ideas.
Does anyone have experience with this or know of suitable IKEA products or third-party components that work well for shoes within the Pax system?

I really love the PAX shoe organization solutions from IKEA! The pull-out shelves make organizing shoes so much easier! 🙂
What I especially like is that the shelves are height-adjustable – this way, not only sneakers but also tall boots fit perfectly.
My tip: Definitely combine them with small boxes for removable items – this keeps everything nicely organized and helps you find the right shoe quickly.
Don’t be put off, PAX is very flexible and offers a lot of possibilities!

It’s actually quite interesting how much changes when you include, for example, sneakers, heels, or hiking boots in your planning!
Also, the combination of angled shelves and small boxes creates an almost playful but very practical effect.
This way, the shoe clutter truly becomes an organizing game! 😄
