Hello everyone, I am currently installing my Ikea Pax doors but having trouble adjusting them so that they close perfectly and align flush. Sometimes the doors stick or don’t close smoothly. Is there anyone in this forum with experience who can share tips on how to optimally adjust the doors of the Pax wardrobes? I am especially interested in advice on which screws to adjust exactly, whether to start at the top or bottom hinge, and if there are any tricks to compensate for unevenness without removing the doors. I would really appreciate detailed and practical tips.

Thanks to everyone for the helpful responses and your contributions here. To summarize, I have understood:

- First, align and level the cabinet precisely.
- Adjust the doors roughly at the top hinges, use the bottom ones for fine tuning.
- Consider vertical, horizontal, and depth adjustments.
- Make small adjustments and regularly check the effect.
- If there are uneven spots, feel free to use felt pads or other shims under the cabinet feet.

I will try this again soon in a very systematic way. If anyone has any tips on which tools are particularly suitable, please share them.

A high-quality Phillips screwdriver in size PH2 is ideal because it fits the screws well and prevents slipping. Additionally, some users recommend a small spirit level or a laser level as helpful tools when aligning the cabinet.

If space allows, a small pair of pliers or tweezers can also be useful for better gripping screws or adjustments, especially on hinges located deeper inside.
