we are currently considering options for our bathroom vanity and sinks.
We are planning a base cabinet 160 cm (63 inches) wide with two separate wall-mounted sinks.
What width would you recommend for each sink?
A narrower sink obviously leaves more counter space, but it shouldn’t be too narrow.
Also, we currently have a sink made of vitrified clay, and the problem is that the basin is too shallow, so water and residue don’t drain properly.
I wanted to ask the community what types of sinks you have and whether you are satisfied with them. The brand doesn’t matter much to us.

Also @kati1337 I really appreciate you. But how you can like Godmorgon so much and at the same time criticize Metod so harshly, in my opinion, doesn’t add up.
I believe that’s how you experience it, but I have had exactly the opposite experience. The Godmorgon panels are much thinner and lighter!

We tested that during a vacation in a holiday home and weren’t impressed, as the cleaning effort is really annoying. It looks nice, but that experience kept us from considering this design for our renovation. Most likely, we will go for a wide sink with two faucets. We just haven’t decided yet if it will be a countertop or undermount version. The homeowner actually prefers a single sink since she doesn’t like sharing the bathroom, and it’s likely that the child will also want more privacy soon. This could be a good compromise for us.

Are you sure you have Metod and not perhaps Enhet? Oh, I probably should have mentioned that we placed a solid oak countertop on the Godmorgon units. Those thin panels are obviously poor quality, I completely agree. I just thought the drawer cabinet itself was pretty good. Maybe they have gotten worse? Mine is from 2020.
And yes, we definitely have Metod here. But not the “expensive” Metod, which might affect perception. Cabinets with doors are always more of a hassle than ones with drawers, so the manufacturer probably matters less in that case.

I’m not sure if you can already receive private messages, but we chose furniture from the brand Tikamoon. We have the Jakob series, which is quite simple. There are many other options as well. I’ll be able to tell you next week if they look as good in real life, as ours will be delivered then.
