we are currently considering options for our bathroom vanity and sinks.
We are planning a base cabinet 160 cm (63 inches) wide with two separate wall-mounted sinks.
What width would you recommend for each sink?
A narrower sink obviously leaves more counter space, but it shouldn’t be too narrow.
Also, we currently have a sink made of vitrified clay, and the problem is that the basin is too shallow, so water and residue don’t drain properly.
I wanted to ask the community what types of sinks you have and whether you are satisfied with them. The brand doesn’t matter much to us.

And unfortunately, they are only available up to a maximum width of 140cm (55 inches) – whether as one large single basin or two separate ones. Why do you have to do that? You can buy and install the sink and base cabinet yourself.
At least with our general contractor, this is not possible due to warranty reasons. The washbasins must be provided by the general contractor. And since integrated washbasins can only be installed with a vanity cabinet, we would also have to take the vanity cabinet from the general contractor in this case.

But you’re right about the 1.6m (5.25 ft). That’s a special size and therefore quite expensive. Unfortunately, I can’t share the link to my result. You can find something like this for under 1000 euros.

If the additional cost from the builder is 300 euros per washbasin and the same washbasin costs 220 euros online, I’d rather have the builder install it directly.
Advantages:
- I don’t have to remove a washbasin from the wall afterward, which could damage the tiles
- Warranty all from one source

- Warranty all from one source Well, the extra charge is 300. But if you decided to remove it yourself from the contractor, they would probably credit you for the standard washbasin? So the price difference is actually much higher.
