Hello everyone!
Here is the current situation:

Modern bathroom: white bathtub, showerhead, grey tiles, baskets and towels.

The Kallax shelf back there in the niche is only a temporary solution.
I would like to have something different there. The Kallax just fits in exactly. The width I have is about 155cm (61 inches), and the height is about the same as the Kallax (around 77cm (30 inches)).
I would prefer a shelf, chest of drawers, or side table that is a bit lower than the current one. It can have some open compartments for towels but may also partially have doors.
I can hardly find anything in the 150–155cm (59–61 inches) width range. Everything I find is either too short (for example, 120cm (47 inches)) or too long (160cm (63 inches) doesn’t fit).

Do you have any ideas what would fit well there? Preferably something from that big Swedish store or other online shops, any tip is much appreciated. 🙂

A "before" and "after":
Recently, our new shelf for the bathroom niche arrived. It’s one from Tylko, but there are many similar manufacturers.
We are very satisfied with our choice. A custom cabinet from a carpenter would have offered more doors and storage space, but it would have also cost well into the four-digit range.
The Tylko shelf was easy to assemble, feels quite high quality (at least compared to IKEA), and was about 330€ (around $350).

Bathroom shelf with white towels, baskets, and toiletries.

Wooden ladder used as towel rack in bathroom; white and beige towels, shelf with baskets.

So what exactly is the benefit or advantage now?

Not IKEA and higher quality (five)

In my opinion, it looks much better. 🙂
The old IKEA unit was black, clearly too tall, and also 2cm (about 0.8 inches) too deep for the niche. It looked cramped. This one is adjusted in height, depth, and width to fit the niche.

Something like this is perfect for a custom built-in wardrobe!
