Hello.
We are looking for a supplier of precast concrete garages as a large single garage with one door.
Has anyone here had such a garage built or installed?
Which supplier did you use? What were the costs?
So far, we have shortlisted two "affordable" companies with quotes around 16,000 euros each. Three other quotes range from 18,000 to 25,000 euros.
We want one door with two remote controls, an electrical package with several sockets, two light fixtures, no door and no window. Everything in white. Roof coating, sectional door, M-rib Woodgrain finish, automatic door opener, and drainage included. Delivery and installation on strip foundations supplied by us.
Looking forward to tips and recommendations...
Have a nice evening...

The green roof alone cost €1,600, since it’s not quite standard Can you tell us more? I’m interested in a green roof as well, but more of a standard version... What else do you have? What did you choose and why?

I just double-checked, and the price is actually standard. However, the typical substrate layer thickness is only 6cm (2.4 inches). In our case, the green roof is required to have a minimum thickness of 10cm (4 inches) according to the local development plan, which is the only reason we went for it. Otherwise, I would have preferred to save the money.
Actually, it should have been more expensive than the standard option because the structural engineering has to be checked, but apparently that was already done for other builders in the area.
Hello, just a tip: Have the garage prepared for green roofing by the manufacturer. Then have the green roof installed locally by a landscape gardener or do it yourself. There are definitely more difficult tasks for DIY than greening your roof... Savings potential at least 80%.
