Hello.
We are looking for a supplier of precast concrete garages as a large single garage with one door.
Has anyone here had such a garage built or installed?
Which supplier did you use? What were the costs?
So far, we have shortlisted two "affordable" companies with quotes around 16,000 euros each. Three other quotes range from 18,000 to 25,000 euros.
We want one door with two remote controls, an electrical package with several sockets, two light fixtures, no door and no window. Everything in white. Roof coating, sectional door, M-rib Woodgrain finish, automatic door opener, and drainage included. Delivery and installation on strip foundations supplied by us.
Looking forward to tips and recommendations...
Have a nice evening...

Height for Rekers 2.05 m,

Are you sure?

As part of an evaluation, I have a current offer from Rekers with the following dimensions: 5.96 x 2.98 x 2.62 m (W x L x H) (19.55 x 9.78 x 8.60 ft)

Best regards, Bauexperte

He probably meant the clear height of the gate.

According to the catalog, Rekers offers two different heights. Garages are often built right on the property boundary, which usually limits the height. However, the clear height of the door is crucial for usability. Unfortunately, the catalog often only provides this measurement for the up-and-over door version. In this case, you may need to check with the door supplier for the clear passage height and then decide if it is sufficient.

I have not yet received a response from Zapf, but another gate can be offered that would provide a clear passage width of 5.50 m (18 ft) and a height of 2.12 m (7 ft). This gate would be installed behind the reveal.

However, this design includes a support post (jamb) on each side of the interior walls, protruding 12 cm (5 inches) into the garage. Something like this:
This could interfere with door opening.

The company Rekers can offer a smooth interior wall, but with a clear passage width of only 5 m (16 ft)!
Additionally, our garage needs to be built slightly below ground level at the rear (about 100–150 cm (39–59 inches)). Rekers cannot accommodate this or only guarantees structural stability with up to 50 cm (20 inches) of earth backfill.
With the other option, a rear wall reinforcement is available for an additional 380€.

Does anyone have experience with interior posts or earth backfill?

In my experience, a 5m (16 feet) driveway width is more than sufficient. Unless you want to park both cars in the garage at the same time (synchronized parking ).
