Hello.
We are looking for a supplier of precast concrete garages as a large single garage with one door.
Has anyone here had such a garage built or installed?
Which supplier did you use? What were the costs?
So far, we have shortlisted two "affordable" companies with quotes around 16,000 euros each. Three other quotes range from 18,000 to 25,000 euros.
We want one door with two remote controls, an electrical package with several sockets, two light fixtures, no door and no window. Everything in white. Roof coating, sectional door, M-rib Woodgrain finish, automatic door opener, and drainage included. Delivery and installation on strip foundations supplied by us.
Looking forward to tips and recommendations...
Have a nice evening...

3.5 hours? For us, it was done in at most half that time.

Hello,

just out of curiosity, the prices listed here for the crane seem very low to me...

Depending on how far the crane has to lift the garages, a 100-ton mobile crane may quickly be required.

At that point, the prices mentioned here no longer apply...

Regards,

Dirk

I just checked the invoice from Kemmler again: it was just under 800€ gross, for a two-part garage. The distance to the crane setup location was up to 10m (33 feet). I also reviewed the pictures and it was a 60-ton crane.

Ok, a 100-ton crane is definitely more expensive...

We had two garages that needed to be installed using a crane – one located 1.5 m (5 feet) from the street, the other 7 m (23 feet) from the street.

However, the street was so narrow that the garage installation was only possible with a mobile crane, and due to the size of the garage positioned further back (7 m x 3.40 m (23 ft x 11 ft)), it was so heavy that a 100-ton crane was necessary.

The mobile crane arrived with an escort vehicle for safety (since it was an oversized "heavy transport") and a semi-trailer truck that carried the required counterweights for the crane.

Just because of this alone (3 vehicles with crew) we could only dream of such a price...
