Hello dear forum,

we have light/white spots on our anthracite-colored uPVC windows that, in my opinion, come from the plastering. Although everything was carefully masked and covered, there are spots on almost every window frame. We have tried everything from water to all-purpose cleaner. The spots keep reappearing after they dry. As mentioned, we are not sure if they really come from the plaster, since some are located in places that were 100% masked off. Do you have any ideas or tips on how to deal with this?

Which manufacturer are your windows from and what was the product name?

The windows are from Feba, but I don’t know what the product was.

Kind regards,

Hello, we have exactly the same problem. Was there a solution for you? How did you handle it? Thanks for the help

It was caused by the adhesive tape. It stayed on for a long time and was exposed to sunlight. Unfortunately, it can no longer be completely removed!

Hello everyone, we have the same problem. It almost seems like it only appears where the exterior plasterer cleaned afterward. I have already tried quite a few things; do you have any new solutions? I’m really desperate!
Thank you very much!

Let’s be honest. These aren’t stains; the surface looks completely ruined and like it has been on the south side for 30 years.

Yes, there are also spots that look like paint splashes. I suspect the surface is a stonewashed leopard print foil meant to "imitate" a roughly sawn silver-gray stained wood pattern (?)
