Hello!

We have a large open-plan living/kitchen/dining area on the ground floor. There is a direct transition from tile to parquet flooring. In the parquet area, we have white painted baseboards.

Since the transition from tile skirting to the white MDF baseboards would be visible and unattractive, we are considering using white painted baseboards throughout.

Does anyone else have white baseboards and tiles? How does that look?

Good luck,

We also have white baseboards. We like how it looks.

Large green houseplant in white pot in front of white wall, orange bird decoration.

Same here! It looks great, especially when the baseboards match the door frames. Photos are here https://www.hausbau-forum.de/threads/hausbilder-Thread.14011/page-26#post-144428

We will do it that way as well. To be honest, I find tile skirting... quite outdated anyway. I’m convinced it will look good. Best regards, Steffi33.

We are considering that as well. Has anyone already found a good supplier?

Best regards

I believe you can find these in any hardware store and they’re not very expensive... I just checked, and at Oddo shipping, the running meter of the Hamburger baseboard HFL60 costs only 3.99 EUR (the set of 5).
