Hello!

We have a large open-plan living/kitchen/dining area on the ground floor. There is a direct transition from tile to parquet flooring. In the parquet area, we have white painted baseboards.

Since the transition from tile skirting to the white MDF baseboards would be visible and unattractive, we are considering using white painted baseboards throughout.

Does anyone else have white baseboards and tiles? How does that look?

Good luck,

Then they are laminated, which has a very limited lifespan.

We have had wood-effect foil-covered moldings matching the laminate flooring in our current house for 15 years, and they all still look like new... Of course, it might be that white is more prone to showing wear...

I have probably only come across examples that quickly became unsightly by chance. As you can see, there are better ones just like the ones you have. But that was a very stylish development project with condominiums. After 2-3 years, the membrane developed bubbles and started to peel slightly at the cut edges.
