My question is for those who have experience with the assembly: Which tools are absolutely necessary to complete the Pax setup efficiently and without unnecessary back-and-forth? I’m not only referring to the standard tools, such as the Allen key that Ikea provides, but also any additional tools that can really help, for example to fasten screws more easily or quickly, or to better align parts. I’d appreciate specific recommendations and maybe some tips on what to watch out for to avoid complicating the assembly.

Basically, the included Allen key is sufficient for many screws, but using a power screwdriver with the appropriate bit makes assembly much easier and saves time. Additionally, a rubber mallet can help to gently fit parts together without damaging the materials. It’s also useful to have a spirit level on hand to ensure the cabinet is properly aligned. For precise work, it’s a good idea to have a longer screwdriver available to reach screws in tight spots.

Allen keys, cordless screwdrivers, spirit levels, and rubber mallets are the most essential tools; you don’t need anything more.

Let me explain this in a bit more detail, as assembling the Pax system involves a few small tricks where having the right tools really makes a difference:
