It’s also important not to over-torque when using a power tool during assembly—otherwise, the wood quickly shows signs of stress. Looseness? None at all. It also makes installation more pleasant, which is definitely a bonus, right?

In general, it should be noted that Ikea Metod carcasses and drawers come standardized with 5 mm (0.2 inch) Euro-style drill holes. Therefore, the screws should be:
