Hello everyone, I am planning to assemble my new Ikea Metod kitchen next week and am looking for tool recommendations to make the process as quick and efficient as possible. Ideally, I prefer tools that you might already have at home or that are inexpensive to obtain. I’m especially interested in advice for screwing, drilling, and fixing during the assembly, as well as any tips to avoid common difficulties. Does anyone have experience with tools that really save time or make the assembly easier? Thanks in advance for your helpful tips!

If you plan to assemble furniture more frequently, investing in better bits is worthwhile. Regarding torque: Many Metod screws need to be tightened within the range of 2 to 4 Nm (1.5 to 3 ft-lb) – here, the torque clutch on the screwdriver helps prevent over-tightening and thus avoid damaging the panels.
