Besides, having a bathtub is priceless when you have children – ever since we got one, our older child doesn’t want to get out.I was just about to say the same. No bathtub but kids? That’s just impossible.
I think I’ve mentioned this about this bathroom before: The entrance is blocked when someone is standing at the sink. Wasn’t this bathroom designed for 5 people? Of course, a bathtub is nice, but for me, it’s more important that more than one person can use the bathroom at the same time without getting in each other’s way. What is going to be placed in the niche under the shower?

It’s unfortunate that you lose quite a bit of space below the shower due to the sloped ceiling. Having the sink so close to the door always creates a bottleneck when more than one person is in the bathroom.
What knee wall height and roof pitch do you have?

Hello,
completely leaving out the bathtub is really not an option. With three small children, that just doesn’t make sense. We’re not a couple household that somehow wants or needs a fancy shower. As parents, we rarely take baths anyway. According to the plan, a dresser is planned under the shower. Our roof has a 45-degree pitch, and the knee wall is at 112.5cm (44 inches).

I’m glad that with three kids we didn’t have a bathtub, but a large shower instead. Why would you need a bathtub for children? I still don’t understand that. Showering is much more practical and also more comfortable for the kids.Besides, now that the kids are older, no one uses the bathtub anyway. In my new house (renovation), I’m deliberately getting rid of the tub and installing an extra-large shower (rain shower, etc.).
The question is also, what do you need and for how long? For small children, a bathtub is probably practical, but would some kind of wash tub placed in the shower work as well? For me, a large bathroom and a nice shower are more important. How big is the shower planned to be in your case? It can’t be more than 90x90cm (35x35 inches), right?
