Hello everyone, I recently assembled a Pax wardrobe from IKEA and unfortunately found that some parts were missing. My question is: what exactly can I do if parts are missing during the assembly of a Pax furniture piece? I have already checked the packaging and the box itself but could not find any additional parts. I would also like to know if it’s possible to rely on goodwill from IKEA, how the process of obtaining replacement parts typically works in such cases, and whether it makes sense to pause the assembly at that point or continue building and get the missing parts later. Hey, I’ll add a practical perspective here: If you’re only missing a few screws or connectors, check if you can replace them at a hardware store or with spare parts from a “screw box” elsewhere, especially if it’s urgent. However, these kinds of improvised fixes aren’t always ideal, depending on how they might affect the cabinet’s weight capacity or stability.
