teekanne_903512 Sep 2010 12:52Hello dear Tylösand owners!
I don’t have one yet, but I would really like to get one. However, there is a big problem: my wife doesn’t like the metal braces on the sides or the metal legs/pipes... 🙁
I already have an idea for the sides (to have some kind of cover sewn), but I’m wondering—and asking you—if the pipe frame that the Tylösand stands on is separate or connected to the “side pipes,” and do you think it would be possible to simply replace the metal legs with something else, like wooden feet?
Unfortunately, I can’t find any photos online showing the underside of a Tylösand....
I would really appreciate your help! I want this sofa!!!
Thanks in advance, best regards,
teekanne

With a bit of DIY skill, you can also install different legs there. The "legs" on the Tylosand are attached to the sofa with just two wood screws and are not connected to the frame itself.

First of all, thank you very much for your reply and encouragement!!! But what do you mean by: "..not with the frame(?) itself"???
Maybe you have the patience to explain it to me again, yes?
Thanks, regards, teekanne
