Hello!
We are moving in soon 😀, and in spring we will be installing the terrace!
Because of the furniture storage, we need a roof covering. It should be made of metal, not wood.
Anyway, what should be done first? Installing the terrace with its surface covering, or the roof structure with the necessary foundations, around which the surface covering can be laid.
The same issue applies to the carport, but here we will have a gravel/split base…

Finally back online... we have moved, and meanwhile, you are in blue? What did I miss??????
No, we won’t have a wooden terrace—I don’t like the look when it’s wet.
My dream has always been polygonal sandstone slabs, which also come in quartzite... the problem is probably the cost, since they need to be laid in mortar.
We will definitely go for stone or concrete pavers, probably in sandstone color or anthracite.
