ᐅ Terrace with Plenera decking boards

Hello, we are planning a terrace with Plenera decking boards. Has anyone had any experience with these boards? They were highly recommended to us at the home improvement store. Matthias

Proud price; well, I don’t know much about terrace flooring yet – that’s something I still need to learn.
So the revolutionary aspect is that it’s made from compressed rice husks? Some have already warned us against wood because of weathering – but maybe they always bought the cheapest options; after all, this isn’t even wood in the true sense.
Have you seen it in person? At over €100 per square meter, in my opinion, it really needs to look good.

I’d like to use this thread to ask which type of wood you chose for your wooden deck? We are currently leaning towards oak. What did you use?

We have now chosen Siberian larch without grooves for the terrace.

Why without grooves?
