Hello,

My terrace will have an L-shape, meaning it wraps around the corner of the house and therefore needs a slope away from the house on both sides.

But how do I create the slope away from the house on both sides of an L-shaped terrace?

I would appreciate any tips.

Thanks, regards Mat

I am looking forward to the responses. We will also be installing in an L-shape, but so far we haven’t given it much thought since the interior plaster is just being applied.

Sloping the ground will be difficult. Have L-shaped concrete blocks installed and support the structure by hand. Alternatively, use hollow blocks and fill them with concrete.

I don’t understand?

It’s about the gradient when the L-shape turns around the corner!

Either two sloping planes like with a hip roof, each perpendicular to the house wall, or one sloping plane at 45° to both house walls (although this would result in a height difference along the house wall, which might not be aesthetically pleasing).

I still don’t get it. Ops: Can someone please give me a nudge off the line!!
