CiondyHello dear forum,
I am at my wit’s end. I bought a RATIONELL drawer, deep, and a front panel (from different sellers!) on Ebay Classifieds to install an inner drawer in my cabinet. Unfortunately, I just realized that the front panel and the drawer don’t fit together, and there are also missing parts.
I need an expert opinion and advice on how to solve this problem and where to get replacement part(s)! mütze36 had the same issue recently, but in my case, the connecting elements don’t fit the drawer I have here (explanation below under "Drawer details").
Missing parts:
- Connecting elements (plastic? metal?) for front panel to drawer
- Fastening for the side rails on the drawer
Problems:
- The front panel cannot be attached to the drawer
- The side rails are too thick for the holes in the front panel where the rail should be placed and the cap pushed over
Details about the drawer:
- 60 cm (24 inches) wide, deep (seems older than 2012, as the drawer looks different from mine: on the right and left sides there’s no rectangular cutout, but rather 4 smaller irregular holes) ->
- Rationell front panel article no. 401.300.90
Thank you very much in advance for your replies.
Best regards
