Hello.

Does anyone have horizontal wall cabinets and can tell me how much clearance above the cabinet is needed so that the door (height 40cm (16 inches) and 60cm (24 inches)) with a handle can open without hitting the ceiling? Or is it possible to adjust the hinges so that the doors stay open at a 90° angle?

Unfortunately, the manual does not provide any information on this (I can’t make sense of figure 7 on page 11).

Thanks & best regards!

Or can these hinges also be adjusted so that the doors remain open at a 90° angle? (

Yes, that is possible. I have set mine up that way; otherwise, I wouldn’t be able to reach the flap to close it.

Oh great! According to our current plan, we would only have about 5-6 cm (2-2.5 inches) of clearance above the cabinets, so it's good to know that 90° is sufficient. We would only reach these cabinets using a step ladder anyway, but standing on it, I would prefer not to have to maneuver around a 60x60 cm (24x24 inch) swinging door.

One more question about the hinge: I want to install a horizontal 100 x 40 cm (39 x 16 inches) door across three cabinets: 20-60-20 cm (8-24-8 inches).
Would it be enough to use the (large?) hinge in the 60 cm (24 inch) cabinet and have the door overhang 20 cm (8 inches) on the left and right sides? Or do I need to use 3-4 hinges in total?

(The planner unfortunately cannot display horizontal 100 cm (39 inch) cabinets, so I am not getting any information from them.)

This one should fit.

Two white installation switch inserts with metal frame, front and back side

The 60x80 Ringhult door weighs 6.83 kg (15.06 lbs).
The 40x100 Ringhult door weighs 5.66 kg (12.48 lbs).

... and if it’s not possible, you can still add a few later on.
