after the entire kitchen was installed and the handles were fitted on the drawer fronts, suddenly I can no longer attach two of the fronts (Grevsta) onto the drawers!?
Normally, this was quite simple and it’s clear where they need to be slid in. I also removed and reattached the mounting bracket (unscrewed with a Phillips screwdriver) on several drawers several times without any issues.
Now, for these two drawers, the front can only be slid in about 1 cm (0.4 inches) before it gets stuck. Applying force or wiggling back and forth doesn’t help. They just won’t go in any further.
Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this? I don’t see anything unusual. When turning the “separating screw” with the Phillips screwdriver in this state, everything seems normal.
Hope someone has a suggestion.
Thanks,
Fridde

fritz meinikat7 Jun 2015 13:31Hi,
Unfortunately, I can’t insert the photo into my reply, but when looking at it from the front, there is already a hook hanging down in the middle. It hangs down to just below the halfway point of the rectangle. Is that correct?
As I mentioned, when I turn the cross screw, it makes exactly the "pushing out" movement that the hook is supposed to do.
How else could I get the hook into the correct position?
Many thanks for any help!
