Hello!

I am currently completely refurnishing my home and will probably buy furniture worth around 15,000 EUR at IKEA. (Faktum kitchen, Pax system, bathroom furniture, Mandal bed, Besta for living room and study, etc.)

Since I often travel to Slovakia, I recently took a catalog with me. At home, I noticed that the same furniture is about 10 to 20% cheaper there, and for high-gloss fronts in Faktum and Besta, even around 40% less.

The price difference in kitchen appliances is also particularly noticeable, with the dishwasher, oven, and cooktop each costing about 100 EUR less per unit, roughly 25%.

I am seriously considering borrowing a truck from my company and making the 350 km (220 miles) trip. Or does anyone think the quality there is different?

Best regards,
fleptin

Why should the quality be different there? The manufacturer is the same. Or do you believe that every country has its own manufacturer? If you buy a BMW, it is the same in Germany as it is in Slovenia.

Of course, there are price differences, even within Germany—from one IKEA to another IKEA.

But are the warranties in Slovenia the same as in Germany?
