Hello everyone,

Since I have no prior experience, I would like to get some general information.
Our new building will be heated using an air-to-water heat pump.
What would generally and overall be the advantages, potential savings, and costs of installing a photovoltaic system on the roof? Is it worthwhile or not?

So once again, a positive effect and the cost of temporary power on site becomes more manageable...

Heating using construction power was not permitted in our case. No one was interested anyway..

And if the house connection hasn’t been completed yet, can the system also be used for the heat pump to heat the screed (using temporary construction power)?

You need to be careful that the temporary construction power meter has a backflow preventer because feeding the photovoltaic surplus back into the temporary construction power meter is not allowed! That would cause problems.

We had a final bill of €58, including screed heating, with photovoltaic (including battery storage) on the temporary construction power.

This is also not permitted here and is explicitly prohibited.

Isn’t it possible to program the system so that the surplus energy is simply not fed back into the grid? The heat pump should be the only device supplied. Doesn’t anyone (the utility provider) notice that the initial reading is higher than the final reading?!
