Coco72- Why isn’t the wall in the upper floor straight? There should be enough space for that. By the way, the hallway on the upper floor seems narrower.
- It would be helpful to have more measurements to assess the walk-in closet and bedroom, etc.
- You might want to reconsider having a window in the shower.
- The cloakroom is a bit small.
- Is it possible to walk under the stairs leading to the garage? Ask for a cross-section drawing.
- What is the clear ceiling height of the finished floor on the ground floor? 18.3cm (7 inches) with 15 risers seems low.
- What kind of window is in the toilet, and where do guests enter from?
- Dimensions of the ground floor would be appreciated.
It would have been helpful if you had provided a bit more information following the guidelines in the thread

In any case, I would probably place both children's bedrooms on the south side and the master bedroom at the top of the plan on the north side.
I consider windows in the shower area to be counterproductive.
Unfortunately, the window sill heights are not visible either; in any case, I would find it uncomfortable and impractical to have a window directly above the head of the bed (master bedroom).
The furnishing in the living area seems unrealistic to me, and everything looks quite cramped. Why have an externally mounted fireplace?

Hello,
here are my thoughts:
- Sloped walls on the upper floor don’t make sense and should be made vertical. There is still enough space for the door in front of the staircase.
- I would also move the bedroom next to the bathroom to create a better separation from the children’s rooms.
- The wardrobe is too small in my opinion. With two kids, I imagine it would be quite cramped. I would consider sacrificing the whole or part of the pantry for it, especially since the pantry is somewhat awkwardly located around the corner.
- The pantry should be accessible directly from the kitchen.
- I would probably put a door between the hallway and the living room. Otherwise, it would feel too uncomfortable and open. When someone enters through the garage, they basically already stand almost inside the living room. That would feel like a pigeon loft.
- Expensive storage space above the utility room – is there a deeper reason for that? Do you have to use a ladder to get up there? It’s a huge room without proper access – I think it’s a waste.

Thank you very much. The suggestions are really helpful. The window sill height in the bedroom is 1.50 m (5 feet).
We have already extended the living room wall to mount the TV and other equipment, which also allows us to arrange the furniture differently in the living room.
Where the pantry is now, the following change will be made: this area will become a recess for a wardrobe, with access to the pantry through a sliding door in the kitchen. Better?
Yes, having a good storage space is our biggest concern. A door on the upper floor would be ideal, but where? Unfortunately, there is no space. The only option left is an external storage room in the garage. Or do you have any suggestions?
Access from the garage to the house is basically located under the stairs.
The children's rooms are on the north side because our teenager, aged 16, is there, and next to the bedroom is the younger child, aged 5. The guest room is for our university student daughter, who only comes occasionally on weekends.
