I have a Pax TONNES wardrobe (with white glass panels).
Unfortunately, due to a moment of carelessness, two glass panels were broken. When I inquired, IKEA casually informed me that I can only purchase the entire package including the sliding door mechanism and eight glass panels for 480 EUR (approximately $) per package. There are three packages in total.
I find it hard to understand why IKEA is not willing to offer the glass panels separately as spare parts for such an expensive and delicate construction.
I am very disappointed. This has nothing to do with customer friendliness.

rafael196616 Nov 2010 16:03Hello!
I have a PAX UGGDAL and was thinking about the "what if a glass panel breaks" scenario.
I would have a 6 mm (1/4 inch) plywood panel, made of birch or beech (depending on the bedroom furniture), cut to size at the hardware store (15-20 €/m2), then nicely oiled and installed.
There are also sliding door wardrobes from the factory that come with this kind of combination.
Best regards

that was a bit imprecise. The plywood panel should be the same thickness as the glass (around 5-6 mm (0.2-0.24 inches)).
