Hello everyone
We are currently planning our new build with an architect.
When is the best time to visit the kitchen showroom or start bathroom planning to ensure that all windows, doors, and walls can remain as planned?
How did you handle this?
Best regards,
milkie

If I remember correctly, our kitchen studio provided us with a kitchen layout (of course after the contract was signed) that had to be taken into account during the shell construction phase.
To create this layout, I believe the kitchen studio needed the floor plans.
A detailed planning or measurement was carried out by our kitchen studio shortly after the screed was installed.
So the sequence (in our case):
1. Shell construction planning (including architect)
2. Kitchen planning (rough)
3. Interior finishing planning (pipes, etc.)
4. Electrical work / plumbing
5. Screed
6. Kitchen measurements (final adjustments)
7. Flooring
All this is from memory and without guarantee.
7. Electrical

Yes, that’s probably how we’ll do it to make sure all the connections, windows, and doors are in the correct positions.
So, we’ll wait for the next plan to see if everything fits properly, then we’ll go to the kitchen showroom, and after that, we’ll submit the plans.
Thank you!

At the risk of repeating what many before me have said: we started working on a rough kitchen layout very early on because we wanted to adapt the floor plan to our kitchen. We have a floor-to-ceiling window positioned exactly between the (half) island and the wall unit. Then the floor plan was finalized in detail and sent to the kitchen supplier for "review." Once everything is complete, the installers come, take the measurements, and place the kitchen order.
That's exactly how we will do it as well. At the moment, our floor plan is with the architect for further adjustments. We definitely need this now to know how the two "fixed" doors to the hallway and the storage room will be positioned. However, the windows and sliding door to the pantry should be aligned with the kitchen.
Have you already ordered the kitchen directly, negotiated the price, and selected the fronts and everything?
Good luck milkie
