Hello,
We are currently planning the kitchen and have, among other things, visited a kitchen showroom. I have often heard that kitchen cabinets can also be used to create built-in wardrobes for the hallway, bedroom, etc. My idea now is to do the same, as we might be able to get a good package deal.
Does anyone have experience with this? Were you satisfied? Especially regarding the price range? ...An alternative would be a carpenter, but since we do not want solid wood or veneer, it may not be necessary.
I look forward to your replies.

Through my kitchen studio, I had Nobilia furniture planned for the utility room, pantry, and walk-in closet. There are also very nice solutions available for the cloakroom. The price is not exactly cheap, but like with the kitchen, it depends on the chosen fronts and materials. There is, of course, a wide price range but very many possible combinations, meaning you can plan these rooms just like the kitchen, with adjustable depths as well (e.g., very useful for a small pantry).

See here:
We invested quite a bit of money in a carpenter for some parts. That turned out to be the right decision. But specifically for the wardrobe, it wasn’t worth it for us.
What you see in the picture is a DIY Ikea Pax wardrobe. Hello,
the cabinet looks great. We are also planning to use an Ikea Pax as a built-in hallway closet. May I ask for the dimensions of your niche? How deep is it? We’re uncertain about this because we would like to have sliding doors (possibly custom-made and not those for Pax). You closed it from the top with drywall, right?
Could I also ask how many people you are? We are planning a wardrobe with a width of only 1.50m (5 feet) for 2 adults and 1 child (there won’t be more people), but we also have an extra shoe cabinet that is 1.20m (4 feet) wide and 1.00m (3 feet 3 inches) high. We’re wondering if that will provide enough space.
Many thanks and best regards

thoughtless8612 Apr 2022 10:27I have planned a Nobilia system for the utility room (with space for a washing machine, sink, etc.) next to the kitchen at my kitchen studio, as well as a pantry. Installation will be around early May. Then I can gladly share pictures. Utility room about 3.3m (11 feet) and pantry 1.6m (5 feet).

thoughtless8613 May 2022 23:11So dear forum members. As promised, here are the pictures of my solution for the utility room and the pantry from the kitchen studio, both by Nobilia... The utility room front in a so-called white concrete look, I found quite stylish with the anthracite-colored vinyl floor, but there are countless options...

I don’t like white built-in cabinets for the clothing area.T
thoughtless8613 May 2022 23:24In my case, no clothes will go in there. The wardrobe is made of oak... 😉 What you see in the picture is a typical utility room with storage space for cleaning supplies, vacuum cleaner, car accessories, and so on.
