since all the developers so far have refused to include a garage in their offer (referring me to prefabricated garage manufacturers), I want to ask how and where you have built your garages and what the price differences are.
I definitely want to make full use of the 6x9m (20x30 ft) boundary build limit.
Ideally, I would prefer a double garage, but apparently, that is too expensive...
If necessary, a carport would also work, but a carport of that size with a storage shed wouldn’t be much cheaper, right? Especially since I would still have to pave the area...
Are prefabricated garages any good? The house will have a brick veneer, and I think with a prefabricated garage I would lose a lot of interior space due to the double exterior walls.
Also, I would like to have a door connecting to the utility room.

If I want a double garage with a shed, they place three single garages of 3 x 6 m (10 x 20 ft) next to each other. A simple strip foundation is no longer possible at this size, and a crane is necessary.
Does anyone have experience with these three-part garages? How are the joints between the individual elements? How large are the overlapping wall elements on the inside, and are they problematic?

toxicmolotof20 Mar 2015 20:39I strongly recommend that you visit a reference garage with these features from the same manufacturer in your area. This will give you the best understanding of the characteristics and scope of services.
As soon as you position the components sideways, you will need a crane.
We ordered a garage 6m (20 feet) wide and 8m (26 feet) deep in four parts without a crane. However, it included openings and door cutouts in between, not as one large space.

Delivering it by crane might be difficult because the street is unpaved and only 5.30 meters (17.4 feet) wide. Additionally, there are power cables hanging over the street that limit the available height. Can anyone offer advice regarding the choice of suppliers? We also need to prepare a foundation—either a concrete slab or strip footing. Thanks in advance for any tips and suggestions.

This only requires about 10 pier foundations, and it can be assembled relatively easily without a crane.
The provider "Die Carport und Garagen Profis" unfortunately only sells garages in our area, but I believe there are similar suppliers in Berlin.
This would certainly be suitable for properties with limited access...

In any case, you can only start laying the foundation once you know which type of garage you will have.
