Hello IKEA fans,
my boyfriend and I would like to mount the 1.90m (6 feet 3 inches) long wall shelf "LACK" on the wall in our kitchen to use it as a "table"—with a few bar stools. Do you think the shelf is sturdy enough to use as a bar table? I mean, can you lean on it a little with your arms while eating or drinking?
The maximum load capacity listed for the LACK shelf is 8 to 20 kg (18 to 44 lbs), depending on the wall type and mounting...

Thanks in advance for your answers!

Hello,
I find the shelf too narrow for this purpose. A large dinner plate won’t even fit on it completely.
If you lean on it, there is a risk that the wall anchors will be pulled out of the wall.
