Hello everyone, I have a question that keeps coming up while installing my Pax wardrobe doors: Is there a trick or a proven method to align the doors perfectly? I’m not just talking about rough adjustments, but really precise alignment so that the doors sit flush, don’t rub, and open smoothly. Especially with wider Pax wardrobes, I often find it difficult to align the doors because they seem to shift slightly even though I’ve tightened the screws properly. Is there a specific order for adjusting the hinges or a particular procedure I should follow? I’d appreciate any tips that can help me work cleanly and achieve a stable, long-lasting result.
If you neglect the order of adjustment, the settings often cause shifts in other dimensions. So adjust height first, then depth, and finally width. For recessed hinges, these three adjustment points are always present. After fine-tuning, tighten the screws evenly to prevent warping.

And very importantly: be patient! Especially with taller or wider doors, it can sometimes be a bit fiddly. Thanks, PECLARISSA, I agree that patience is a key point I often underestimate. You want to finish quickly, but especially with wide three-door units, aligning them can really be a challenge.

It’s better to be pragmatic: minor adjustments after a few weeks can be useful, since the doors do tend to settle a bit. That’s a great tip, Gilbert. So far, I have always tried to get everything perfect the first time – maybe the approach of readjusting later is more realistic and practical.
Regarding tightening the screws again: after the adjustments, I will check and tighten all screws evenly once more.
Thanks for the valuable advice, I’ll keep you posted on how it goes!
