Hello,
I have a problem installing a sink in a thick countertop. Specifically, it’s about the Hälvikken sink. The clips used to secure the sink are unfortunately too short to reach under the countertop. Has anyone experienced this issue and can suggest a solution?
Thanks in advance!
Best regards

What material is the countertop made of? If it is compatible with the material, I would attach it using sanitary silicone.

if the board is made of a wood-based panel, you could remove some material from the underside of the countertop at the points where the clips are located. If the cutout has not been made yet, for example with a large Forstner bit (about 5-10mm (0.2-0.4 inches) deep).
