Hello everyone,
now that I have been finished installing our kitchen for a while, I would like to share the following tip with you.

Anyone who has a Tassimo machine at home knows the problem: where to store all the cardboard boxes/capsules without it looking messy and without taking up too much space on the countertop?
These 55cm (22 inches) long Ribba picture ledges are perfect due to their internal dimensions and light weight (about 670 grams (1.48 lbs) without packaging) for attaching inside a 60cm (24 inches) wide Metod kitchen cabinet door to hold the Tassimo boxes.

When mounting them inside the door, make sure to fix the ledge about 2.3cm (0.9 inches) from the edge on the side where the hinge is located.
Also, be careful that the screws are not too long, so they do not come out on the front side.

This way the door closes perfectly and there is no interference anywhere. Depending on whether and which shelves you have inside the cabinet, make sure nothing obstructs them.

Of course, these and the longer picture ledges can also be mounted above the countertop.

Best regards, robi

Exactly, the dimensions are the same. Only a groove has been milled in, which requires a different name and creates a new product.

The groove could then serve as a water drainage channel in case condensation forms.

I need to correct myself regarding the dimensions. I just measured them carefully. Ribba has an internal depth (where the Tassimo boxes go) of about 7.6 cm (3 inches). Mosslanda is deeper inside, about 9.4 cm (3.7 inches), so 1.8 cm (0.7 inches) more. This means the boxes fit more loosely and use up more internal space. Because of the greater depth, it’s important to check beforehand whether closing the door causes Mosslanda to touch the cabinet frame.

The idea of using a picture rail is good, but I personally solved it a bit differently... I found it inconvenient to have to take out the box every time.

So I got the BEKVÄM spice rack for 2.99 each and painted it white. The advantage is that you can now easily pull out your discs as you like. The width of the rack is 40cm (15.7 inches).

Maybe this could be useful for some of you.
